Not sure how I missed this, but hey better late than never! I'm running 3 hives at the moment - all Italians: a 30'ish frame long langstroth, an 8 frame langstroth, and a 5 frame nuc I started and happy to say has a laying queen as of last week. Assuming they survive the winter, I plan on moving the nuc (maybe splitting, we'll see) over to a Warré hive that I'm working on.

I've been getting into beekeeping so I'm soaking up as much info as I can. Just finished up Honey Bee Democracy by Tom Seeley. Fantastically interesting book regarding honey bee swarm preferences and decision making. Next up is an English translation of Beekeeping for All by Émile Warré, mostly because I want to read his thoughts on his hive style and management practices.

To be honest, I don't think that's entirely just a Reddit thing. Power tripping mods have been around as long as Internet forums have in general. It's a tough one to combat for sure.

11 year old account here, I'm getting ready to pull the trigger. So much time spent on niche subs that will be hard to replace, but I suppose that means I should be more active in any similar counterparts on Lemmy to help them grow and flourish.

Wait, hold on. Multiplayer Slay the Spire? Is it like playing against one another or is it cooperative? I haven't played in a while but I have to hear more about this...
