I keep hearing the counter argument that "Safari already shipped a version of WEI and no one made a fuss" but I can't tell if that's true or just missing a lot of nuance. Can someone explain?
Android 14 is slated for a September release. We'll supposedly have another beta as well according to the calendar.
We get 3 months at our current rate and then they're bumping us up to this new price.
"Existing subscribers will start to see the new pricing with their next billing cycle. An upcoming email will explain the changes. Those who were grandfathered in five years ago (with Google Play Music and/or YouTube Red) will get three additional months at their current rate."

The hacky extension workaround also works for Firefox Beta now if you don't want to deal with as many glitches that Nightly might have.
I on the other hand am also a normal person who is still on the waitlist with no invite in sight.
