Therefore the most sensually compelling object is something that smells strongly, is loud, tastes good, looks good, and reacts when you touch it.

So a person?

The i6 is interesting in that people find different parts of it good/bad. For some people they hate the back, but I'm one of the people that hates the front. I'm waiting to see what they do for the inevitable i6N, because the RN22e fixes the front IMO. Then again I doubt I can afford one, so....

I would of course prefer a coupe, but a lot of the production rumors around this car suggest it's going to be $100k+, with a carbon fiber tub.

You want them to break in for insurance purposes though, it's a clear indication of unauthorized entry. Your policy should cover the door/window, but if your lock gets picked/bypassed you're going to have a rough time getting things covered.

A broken window is clear indication of theft for insurance purposes. If your lock gets picked, you might be fucked depending on how your policy is written.

The only French automaker in the US is Bugatti, and it's questionable how French they are.

I'm hoping the Stellantis merger leads to more French cars here. Peugeot, Renault, Alpine, Citroen, and DS all have cars I'd be interested in.

I think the bigger one is the construction industry.

2"x4" studs. 4'x8' plywood. 16" O.C.

Changing to 44x95, 1219x2438, 406 O.C doesn't make a whole lot of sense. We could switch over to the metric equivalents (like 1250x1250 or 600 O.C.), but that would mean switching out machinery and would break a lot of standards.

"Ex-fire". "Crossfire" was an AMD thing.

What's the problem with Namecheap? I've been with them since GoDaddy got on the shit list, but I'm not against moving again.

I use Namecheap as my registrar, then split the domain between Adobe for the site (through their CC portfolio builder), and Proton for email. I migrated off Gsuite a while ago, but haven't had any problems since doing so.

I started my career pretty late, so I'm in major catch-up mode, trying to hit 2x at 35. Starting last year I've maxed both my 401k and IRA every year. Plan is to keep on doing that so that every raise going forward I get to keep. Also on that note my raises typically hit mid-year, which makes figuring stuff out worse

Year Age Salary Retirement
2020 29 N/A N/A
2021 30 $50k $15k
2022 31 $65k $40k
2023 32 $80k $80k (est)

While catching up on retirement I've also been establishing an E-fund (~18 months currently) and a car replacement fund (~50% of what it needs to be with current prices), so my budget has been pretty brutal the past few years. I'm hoping to ease up a little once I hit 35, though then house savings start so who knows.
