I got my wife's ring on etsy. It's pearl and opal, but there are a good bit of jewlers on etsy. I would do a bit of research on the shop before you buy though.

I don't know if it was a bug or not, but I accidentally stole some miners ship before. Broke in, noone aboard so I sat in the seat to examine it. It was made for cargo, nothing special so I got up and just left it. When I left I noticed some miners walking from it, thinking well now I'm really glad I didn't steal that. Went back to my ship and the next time I went to view and modify my ships, it was there...I didn't set it to my home ship or register it, but somehow it's mine now. And some poor miners are wondering why their ship evaporated.

This is 100% about pinching pennies. Gotta find new ways to post those "record breaking profits" every year.

It's 5:45, my alarm just woke me up, and I have to try to bring myself to go to work while starfield is here all day waiting for me to play the hell out of it over the long weekend.

So not bad. At least I have something to look forward to today.

I've watched a few spoiler free reviews on YouTube and the general consensus is that it drops a little in densely populated cities, but otherwise doesn't struggle. If your interested it's one of the first things this guy touches on.

The writing style is a little rough, and I'm not sure if my imagination is having trouble grasping how things are described or if they're just described so vaguely that it's giving me trouble picturing certain things (trying not to spoil anything if anyone who's reading it comes across this)

I love the premise of the story though, and most chapters are amazing. Character building is done well. But you ever come across a few paragraphs that you need to reread because you realized you didn't understand it fully? Some whole chapters are like that for me lol

Currently in the middle of "The Vagrant" trilogy. And to be honest, it's a bit of a tough read...

I don't think there is. But even if there was, it would be my bosses problem not mine lol

IBM is literally the example in the article lol

Maybe, I'll bring that up to him. But they've done this to every department. Project managers are now trying to handle way more than they should and techs are either green as grass or completely overwhelmed with work.

They actually pay us now for the services that they did away with within their own company (whatever sense that makes), so he basically has the same job, just with us. We work with this company closely so we knew him pretty well already and honestly we were happy to bring him on. No training required lol I think he just wanted to get out before his life got turned upside down.

Thanks much! That's a relief because I really want to play it.

Reassigning people into jobs that they hate in hopes that they quit, to avoid paying severance packages.

We have a guy at the company I work for that just went through this. They did away with his division, reassigned him to a new department where you're on call 24/7 working holidays and weekends. He jumped ship to us, but because they didn't fire him, he got no payout because he wasn't let go.
