I agree. After the ending, I was happy my boy could get some rest too lol

I'm hoping the initial backlash from cyberpunk actually registered with them. Other than that I'm also worried about what kind of story and characters they'll use considering the way the last dlc for witcher 3 ended. Not sure I'll be into Ciri based gameplay. That was my least favorite part of Witcher 3, and I don't really want them to retcon the end of blood and wine either to continue with Geralt.

It's because I said bad things about Biden, even though I was talking about politicians as a whole. But you can't say bad things about Biden or be any kind of critical about the current administration without getting trashed on here.

Aww, what a handsome fella! I'm sorry for your loss. Never easy to lose a friend...☹️

"Best I'll be able to do is work a half day on the day of my funeral"

And even then, the mandatory overtime is gonna make me late to my own damn funeral.

It's from 1986 and not insulated well. Between that and my wife keeping the thermostat and mordor temp, and opening the fridge for long periods of time not knowing it wasn't working, it turned into a hotbox.

This is a great idea! But I will have to go with something other than meat. A fair amount of my wife's side of the family is vegetarian. I'm also not that great at cooking lol one of my thoughts this year was to do some of my stencil spraypaints on canvas, as I have a huge stock of canvases and spray paint I never used when I stopped doing it years ago. I just wish I had more time to create some stencils.

No kids to take care of, but my fridge just went out today. This spoiled most of the food in the fridge as I can't pick up a new one until tomorrow, and the of a new fridge and restocking my fridge pretty much cancels Xmas gifts for the family. I feel bad every year because they get my wife and I all kinds of cool stuff and it seems like every year I'm stuck telling them, "Maybe I'll be less broke next year" Not quite the same, I know, but it still makes me feel aweful...

Meanwhile the owner of my company just bought a 5th wheel camper trailer and hitch for his truck in June because he felt like going camping, and is having a 6 bedroom house built for his son on his ranch because his sons wife is having a baby.

This world is fucked for the working class truly.

I agree fully with that. I use one of my credit cards for groceries just to keep padding in my bank account for on hand cash for emergencies (down payment on a car in case mine goes out as you stated, for example) I don't feel like I should have to do that but here we are. There's a fine balance I have to walk financially because of stagnant wages, which is a huge part of the problem.

I don't either. I've already told the family Christmas is gonna be light. Other than what I can scrounge up, instead of the "buy now, pay later" model, I've adopted the "don't buy what i don't need, pay never" one.

Skyrocketting prices on everything means I use what i have until it is absolutely unusable/unfixable anymore. And my credit cards stay mostly clear except for emergencies.

It's a lack of self control on a lot of people's part, and financial institutions are loving it I'm sure.

The models vary between walk up and drive up already. But even so, half of the braile on an ATM are stuck on. They make us put these on when we install them. And we joke about the same thing.
