Hogwarts was fun, not really all that groundbreaking in any particular way but it was a good take on that universe for sure.

No one on this planet currently had anything to do with any of this, we actually live in year 2023 where we know the consequences of those decisions so why the does that mean we can should make the same mistakes they made hundreds of years ago…they didn’t know any better, we do so we have to do better. Is that fair? No. Is that the hand we were dealt? Unfortunately yes.

We can either whine and justify doing the same shit over and over or we can be better and utilize the knowledge we now have and a choose a more responsible route.

Corporate America can move mountains when fines cut into profit margins. I am not kidding when I say this would be fixed immediately.

I don’t hate it, I’m mostly just ambivalent to it. It felt like Bethesda’s Ubisoft moment, where they went from being a company that had been doing something really well and switched to doing something really safe…which is iust boring and generic nowadays. For the first ten or fifteen hours it was like ooh my first Bethesda game in ages! And then I put it down and never felt compelled to go back. I don’t hate it, I don’t love it, I don’t really feel anything towards it. Skyrim grabbed me from jump street and I was all in, same with FO…idk I really wanted to like Starfield…but I just never really felt anything towards it.

Younger gamers have no idea that this was the moment where we failed to safeguard their future.

I live in a state where nobody votes in primaries because it’s literally all decided by the time it gets here

And this one will likely be landing at a time of maximum super hero movie fatigue. Hope it succeeds though, would be cool to see a well received F4 movie.

Seems likely, MS also renames stuff constantly which is probably one of the most annoying things they do.

Punish them for their complete inability to block spam calls. Million bucks per successfully connected call would fix it overnight and then our phone would be worthwhile as phones once again.

Pretty great 2nd date in my experience, not a great idea for an initial date unless you know the person ahead of time. But can pretty quickly reveal if they can cook too!

If they are forced to make their own chips, that means they have to focus on that instead of other technologies…is an argument I’ve heard that has some merit.
