Hi everyone. I've noticed this community is a tad inactive, so i'm going to start sharing some of my weekly deep internet dives. I've been online in one form or another since the 1980s, and I really know how to get lost down rabbit holes. Hopefully some of what I find interesting, also interests the rest of you.

I gotta ask... (self.neocities)

I saw this community on the trending list. Is Neocities supposed to be a throwback to the days of Geocities, Anglefire, and other similar webpage hosts?

It might be related to LED lights indoors. Try a different light source technology , and see if that helps.

Edit:My gut says it is the sensor because how uniform the stripes are.

I first heard this on a CMJ cd back when I subscribed to that magazine. This track slingshots me back to the 90's every-time I listen to it.

Passenger could have been being quite thorough. Filling up all the lavatories.

Sanity check: have you tried a different camera app, like Open Camera. Just see if you get the same results.

I love this song . I also love the song Hello from the same album .

This is blatantly false. The 14th Amendment prohibits it.

Quote the part of the 14th Amendment where it prohibits someone from being elected to an office. I'll link the Amendment here: https://constitution.congress.gov/constitution/amendment-14/

If you read what i said, i differentiated between being elected and holding office. Careful when you say something is "blatantly false". That sounds like you were accusing me of lying, and that can create a toxic community.

Clearly the solution to start owning wolves.

Even though you say you suck at sleeping on the go, maybe the airport you are at has one of those sleep pods.

Trump can be elected again. Holding that office is another thing.

I can smell its sweet odor from here . Nice capture .

Maybe I'm just easily amused. Image uploads are not working, so i'll include this. But now i'm curious if Canoncito Rd is an actual private drive, or if the residents just stuck that sign there to keep people out.

It was previously available behind the counter but a prescription was not needed .

After my Pixel 5 updated on Aug 5th, battery charge times seem noticeably longer . Like 2-3 times longer . Has anyone else's device had this issue or just mine . I have used multiple cables and chargers with the same result . I have NOT tried wireless charging .

I was driving home on i25N and saw the most awesome green meteorite break up across the sky. Someone's dash cam had to capture it.

Unfortunately I was out without my main camera. Captured instead with a phone. Brief video clip: https://peertube.io/w/sYuqbjoEjzh4EjHsu4Tyv8

Technically this is Bernalillo, but it's part of the Abq metropolitan area, so I'm sure you'll all be ok with the post.

We have our own Lemmy instance. I make all my posts @ https://lemmy.world/c/[email protected]

Is there a better nginx.conf docker example file? Specifically one that listens on 443? Or can i just use the one that comes with ansible?

Thanks

First match since Prince moved on. Team actually played good. A few lucky bounces and this could have gone the other way. Hope to see Bruce starting more often.
