Operative System?

Careful. I suggested kagi in another thread and was accused of being a shill.

Don't understand how people can pay $7 for a coffee but won't consider paying $5 or $10 a month for clean search results.

Just to clear things up, it's no ad. I'm just a very happy Kagi user. I have the unlimited tier and use the hell out of it.

If you can't justify it, or don't like their service, I understand. However, I use search a lot in my work and I find the time and frustration that I save to be worth it.

Invest in yourself and your sanity and use kagi.com. $5/mo. for clean search results, major configurability and a simple switch to turn AI responses off.

I've been using it for months and do not miss the Google swamp at all.

If you think the American companies do anything different you're not paying attention and simply believing the propaganda.

Why flock anywhere? Lemmy is the extent of my social media sine the reddit API changes.

You don't need social media.

Remember... when you're killing time it's killing you back.

That was my reaction exactly. "Good. Fuck us."

I did enjoy the parts about the Cultural Revolution and some of the dialog from Da Shi. That's about it.
