A carbon footprint is deffinetly it is in the works, alongside digital currencies, without which none of that social control is possible. Digital Currencies are planned to be slowly implemented everywhere, but that will greatly depend on the public's reaction. Of course, people's increased awareness of their malicious intentions is a risk, they know that ever since the Covid deception, more of us are becoming more aware. Another reason to be somewhat optimistic is their sheer incompetence at implementing their technologies and make the societal, legal and political changes that they need to make that happen, they may have the high spheres of influence and global regulatory organisations like the UN, the WHO the EU, the federal reserve among others, but you have to convince all sovereign states and congress too, and bribe the middleman, that is a lot of infrastructure and human resources to manage.

The unfortunate normalisation of sugary and industrial foods spreading rapidly across the world is causing this. Crap food is relativelly cheaper, widely avaliable and easier to consume, doesn't require much preparation so people tend to make these food choices, which causes, among other things, problems like diabetes in first world countries and now in developing countries especially in Asia and South America where this modern lifestyle is being implemented at a very fast rate. Add to this the increasingly sedentary lifestyle that people have, especially in cities, and you will see obesity and diabetes.
