Lucky enough to have been born rich. He's had a lot of talented people working under him but he, himself, is not that smart and given the past several years, is seeming rather stupid.
Spellblade
Hm given what happened in the past with planes and pilots and all the regulations put in the place for that, I'm a bit surprised the FAA approved this. But it's only under experimental status so I'd hope when it gets more development the FAA looks at it move in depth and imposes more rules. FYI the imploded submersible was also approved under experimental status so this thing sort giving me vibes of that.
Watching Twitter (and other platforms) crash and burn has certainly been interesting. I wonder if bluesky will replace it but I feel like if they don't change the invite only thing soon, they're going to miss their chance.
I'm trying to grow my hair but rip its type 4a/4b so I'll be growing it forever before it gets to shoulder length. And I look really bad with short hair so I just permanently look awful.
I'm bisexual myself but I hope they can at least not let things turn into what askreddit turned into with the near constant sexual questions.
I'm not sure what happened with WhatsApp, but I think the key is if the platform still mostly works as intended people will stay. I follow some artists on Twitter and my feed is mostly their content. I don't see the trash from other parts unless I specifically go looking for it or on rare occasions. So for the most part twitter still functions the same for me and the artists I follow. Now, if say my feed was filled with bigots complaining or people harassing the artists I follow cause they draw NSFW lesbian art or the site was SO filled with bigots that it ruined your reputation just by being there then yeah I'd leave. We are approaching this point but I don't think we are in a Voat or Ruqqus like situation. When I look at instances of games or social media platforms having a mass exodus, that seems to be the common theme, making a change that directly interferes with its core function.
Maybe nows the time to advertise Mastodon some more. What's he gonna do, block us?
The longer the rate limits stay in place the more Twitter users are going to leave. Bluesky, if they're able to get out of beta and allow free sign ups, can easily replace Twitter in a Digg like exodus from the site, but if they're too slow then I think Mastodon might be the winner. But I think people will be more patient with Bluesky since it's run by the former owner of Twitter.
