I'm pretty new to Lemmy, migrating from Reddit and I pretty much only care about the Pokemon community anyways lol. As we get more followers to the community, I think we should look into hosting certain community events and megathreads for ease of access and info like the Pokemon subreddit did. I'm unsure of how things work here; and if the same types of things are possible. But it would help establish our foothold as a community and bring value towards us for outsiders!
I would love to create a weekly discussion/questions thread, a competitive information megathread, and look into the possibilities of stuff like Shiny Sundays again! I'm really looking forward to the growth of the community and to meet new trainers!
