Yeah, that's what's crazy about some of the back-to-the-office pushes: come sit in this cubicle and speak to people online who are sitting in similar cubicles in an other city or country..

Not Oates, he went out into the blizzard and never returned, the absolute madlad. He was poorly, but the others wouldn't leave him behind to his certain death, so he just up and left the tent for a "little walk", never to be seen again, in order to give a chance to the others. A true English gentleman.
The others continued their journey for another two weeks or so, until they all died, to be found later.

Then again, who wouldn't want their eggs washed off with god knows what kind of chemicals that remove the natural protective membrane from the shells, so now you have to store the eggs in the fridge rather than just the shelf?

As an avid reader of Hungarian domestic politics news, I can confirm that the deluge is a feature, not a bug. Having read the hundred thousandth article about the prime minister's inner circle winning yet another tender, yet another government contract, monopoly over one more industry, most people get desensitised to the point that they zone out completely. What's the point if there is no other lane but the VIP lane?

The person who was in charge in 1954 probably died super wealthy sometime in the 70s-80s. In that regard he correctly judged this to be a problem for future generations. We may think that it was selfish to burn his grandchildren's future for his present comfort, but most of us are not sociopaths.
