The Pill became available right as the first wave of Boomers came of age. They were the first generation to have it available when they were at that college/marriage age. The Pill didn't end Boomers. The Pill is why there are so many fewer Gen Xers; because Boomers used The Pill. There was slower uptake among the parents.

It is really easy to not follow someone on Twitter. I do not follow her, and I never see her Tweets.

It is basically the Wizarding world being in the closet, to prevent The Burning Times from happening again.

They do, and they should get on with that, and start ignoring people who don't agree with them, their lifestyle, or use of language. You cannot enforce your own ideas about your identity on anyone else, because they are also entitled to have their own ideas. All a person can do is just live. Celebrity opinions are not law, and should not be paid such attention as if they matter.

How was this handled for Usenet? I think it was just assumed that if you were propagating Usenet Content, you knew that implied diversity positive and negative.

I didn't mean in a trailer park. I meant just out in the country-side on a random piece if land.

Fish definitely have memories. They definitely learn who feeds them. Ask any observant aquarium owner.

You can if you go buy one from a farmer. In many rural places, you can then take it (or have it sent) to a butcher, and then pick up your coolers of fresh meat cuts to fill your deep freezer at home. I know people who do this, say once or twice a year. Better quality meat, often the animal had a better life on a local small farm, and per pound, far better price over the course of the year.

I would guess form the look of the place that it is out in the country with no HOA rules or approvals needed.

If you're a long time Trek fan, definitely check out SNW. It is the best of all the new stuff for old-school fans. By a long shot.
