I almost didn't finish the last couple of episodes, because it seemed too maddeningly stupid for these characters to have this sudden inexplicable amnesia about Agnes Jurati and her friendly Borg crew when facing another evil Borg queen. In the end, I'm glad I did finish, because it was otherwise enjoyable fan service, but it was such obvious "writers can't be bothered". sigh
Someology
You could even have a different senior crew member leading a team of junior officers from their department. This could still give senior officers action, but provide a lot of variety, examples of mentoring, etc.
Right. So, I DuckDuckGo for Mlem and get junk about stray dogs and other random garbage. What is Mlem?
On Windows operating systems, you can open up charmap then find what you want, select and copy to clipboard. Alternatively, in Windows 10 and 11, you can hold win key and tap the period key to open the emoji keyboard then scroll right to the "Latin Symbols"group to find letters with accents.
Yeah, this has made it super confusing to me as a new user this week, because I thought that if beehaw defederated from us, we just wouldn't see them, but the community has a bunch of beehaw stuff, and I was subscribing to them in ignorance. There needs to be some way for new users to be informed of this, or the communities to not show up if they're just going to be crippled for us.
I've felt torn about deleting all my years of comments for this reason. I don't want to keep from benefiting Reddit, but at the same time, it's sad to stop benefitting average Internet users.
It should be fine, except someone told me that we can see stuff from Beehaw, but Beehaw can't see stuff from us. Because Beehaw chose to set up their site that way. IDK why or any other details of that, though.
Hail and we'll met, fellow Usenet veteran! The fediverse organization reminds me most of Usenet.
Ah, thanks for the explanation. So, we can see Beehaw posts, but they can't see ours... weird!
lemmy.world is defederated from just beehaw or from other servers as well?
I use Calibre and BicBucStrim (which can serve up your Calibre library through a web interface). https://projekte.textmulch.de/bicbucstriim/
I've been enjoying this site for the past 4 days. Only time will tell.
