As a new Lemmy user, I have some suggestions to offer regarding the web user interface.

~~Collapsible comment threads -- something to click on in a comment to collapse that thread~~ already exists

Communities sorting -- ability to click headers to sort by Name, Subscribers, Users/month Posts, Comments

Better community identifers on posts -- Add the community identifier to the top of the post's card to give more immediate context

Post thumbnails -- Hide the thumbnail instead of displaying a generic image to make better use of space and avoid repeating the same graphic

Post outline boxes -- In the list of posts, draw some kind of outline box around each post's card for better separation

Post Sorting -- When sorting by All/Hot, have a setting to control how often the list refreshes to avoid unexpected post shifting while you're reading

When I set my front page to "All" and "Hot", it constantly adds new posts to the top of the lists and shuffles everything down. I just visited the page and it updated the list three times in about five seconds. Is there a way to make it not do that?
