It's astonishing the amount of people not understanding that EVs are not a mature technology at all and the goal of all of this is to make the market grow to improve research and industry.

Yes lithium pollutes but no, the mid term goal is not to keep making batteries out of it.

Same for batteries mass and volume.

Not saying that EVs are perfectly clean tho, don't get me wrong.

French here, this new law indeed allows police departments to spy on people and I'm totally against it. But to do so, they will need a judge to accept. It's a kind of warrant. I'm still against because entering devices will emply using vulnerabilities. What are they going to do? Ask constructors to create vulnerabilities? This law is wierd.

Personnally I love Obsidian. It's markdown based so your can store and review documentation in git.

You can also link documents with each other with a very simple syntax and see a map of the created links.

I think it's possible if you flash a Linux distro on your phone. PostmarketOS? Debian? Would be a fun project tho. Let us know how it goes!

I don't know if it's the same but here in France, fiber connection data is always unlimited but never (one exception) unlimited concerning data over 4G/5G.

I think it's a good thing in France because mobile connections are not expensive at all and people could use it as their main home connection.

The point is that mobile connections use more power and have a way higher carbon footprint so it's nice to prevent people from doing this.
