Trying to break the habit, discussion content isn't gonna start itself otherwise

I think my initial instincts were Lemmings for Lemmy, Kbinners for Kbin, and yeah when it comes to the Fediverse as a whole there's a lot of room to play with the Fed in it. I'm having a hard time adopting Fedditor since it makes me think of Feta cheese + redditor, or like a f-ed up redditor haha. But I totally get your logic, universal sort of nicknames make sense across the different apps.

Speaking of which I have no idea what a Mastodon user would be called, I guess Twitter you'd just say a "Twitter user" so the same would go for it.

.world sounded like it was the most "official" on a way? Maybe just bias but sometimes the shorthanded/links make web links sound less credible or not as major of a spot. Kbin.social kinda has that working for it too, .social and .world sounded like official gathering grounds by their naming.

Can you explain how this would work a bit? I'm not familiar with the concept, but wondering if it means that funding would pool through a single system and be distributed across different instances?

Wefwef feels fantastic. As a RIF user I see why the Apollo folk loved the user experience - glad it continues on in a way!

I think it's cause everyone here has to actually try and make meaningful content here as opposed to being jaded and doom scrolling while posting among hundreds of others - and getting told to use the search function. Every post rn has an impact so the vibes are good!

Crazy that even Google seems to be realizing that it's search really leaned on Reddit for decent results nowadays... I'm curious to see if a bunch more things start to implode over time

Rest in peace RIF, time for a new site to autoclick on mobile.

Hope this gets a lot of traction - makes a lot of sense to keep internet discussions freer on these instances than on sites just looking to cash out at all costs. Twitter and Reddit really setting the examples
