I think he's referring to how Reddit used to operate on Tencent funding.
Tencent is partially owned by the Chinese government.
Puls3

Any recommendations on where to do this?
Com feels like company or .com which also stands for company. Doesn't feel right at all.
God I love the smaller communities, they're so much better. Especially when you recognize the people.
As a lifelong adblock user, I recognize your pain.
Nice, that's good to hear. I've only played Skyrim via proton once before I switched to local streaming, so I'm definitely not educated on how it works.
I still haven't migrated completely over, but I've been hanging out over here to see how things go. Depending on the results I might stick around, I imagine most others are the same.
Yeah, the big subs feel like all the content that gets through is devoid of emotion because that's what the mods decided to allow that day. God forbid you decide to post something you thought was cool, but something similar was posted 2 years ago so now you're banned from posting.

I've played MO2 Skyrim through a Steam Link before, and for that to work you have to add MO2 with the launch options from the shortcuts you can make from MO2, this way Steam registers MO2 as a game.
I'd imagine you would need to do the same for proton to work, though that assumes it even runs.
I'm curious, is SKSE even supported through proton? Not sure why it wouldn't but still curious.
I've never understood the concept of having days for certain things, people will talk when they talk and if they have to wait they just won't. If we could get a good flair-like system it might work to be able to filter through what you want to see. Might need more Lemmy support for that though.
Reactions are common in lots of forums though, gold is just a special reaction.
