I mean, I'd be pissed but I'd probably still buy it, providing it was fully playable offline and the content reflected the price. I play GTA when it releases, beat it, fool around a bit and never touch it again. The last time I spent money on gta was when V released on 360, more than 10 years ago.

Its OK, I dont mind lower numbers on fedi. Feels more like The Good Old Days™ of forums. More people, more shit.

I don't think the point of Linux is to tinker. That would kinda make it for tinkerers only. In my view, the point of Linux is that its a kernel only and you can use it to build an OS around and build one which is easy to tinker with or one which isn't. Point is, not every system is suited for every task and the Linux kernel allows you to use it how you wish (via distros or you can make your own system around it). Why the gatekeeping?

You try and then realize its all the other people who mess it up, so you either remove yourself from society or try to destroy it to star anew. You know... the Thoreau vs Hitler dichotomy.

Only one custom category for the best indie games.

But I dont really need it since I uninstall games I dont play and my library view is filtered to installed only:

Showstopper in the sense that it may not play natively and require transcoding. While x264 has pretty much universal support, AV1 does not.. at least not on some of my devices. I agree that it is a good encoder and the way forward but its not the best when using older devices. My experience has been with Chromecast with Google TV. Looks like google only added AV1 support in their newest Google TV Streamer (late 2024 device).

We'll sooner see linux supported anti cheat than we will server browsers.

My little nuc server. Had to change some bios configs today so I busted out the old LCD and since it was there already, did a package update for the hell of it.
