I switched to Emby/Usenet about 4 years ago and never looked back. For storage limited folks I recommend stremio/torrentio/debrid.

Just to note, you can set up a repayment plan fairly easily. Just call up the ATO and state how much your comfortable with paying back, divide it up to end roughly same time next year. Minimises the bill shock.

Lock downs brought a lot of new members, but I think the catalyst was the GME saga. Don't quote me, but I feel like it was that period that saw exponential increase in users and a subsequent shift in quality.
