I'm on the UK and taking paternity leave in December. By using some of my holiday allowance plus a Christmas shutdown I'm turning my 4 week paternity leave into 8 weeks off in total. It's hardly a holiday (seeing as we'll be lookin after a newborn and my other half will be recovering from a c-section/childbirth) but god-damn I am looking forward to two months of just focusing on mu family.

I dunno. They've provided this for free for Early Access backers (like me), which they didn't need to do and none of this is required to enjoy the game. I just considering it as a bonus for backers and a small top up for people who don't want to miss out.
And even a tasty little overtake. Loved to see it!

This is the first I've seen of this post and it obviously was showing for me. On Jerboa in case that makes a difference.
I felt he was hard done by at Red Bull. I remember in particular when he got torpedoed by Lewis in Aus but I always felt like he was a pretty awesome driver who was pretty unlucky on several occasions. Honestly felt he could swing it back his way given time.
Then again, I believe his attitude wasn't the greatest at the time and he seems much happier at Williams outperforming the car. It seems like a totally different operation with James Vowles as well.

Frankly the only thing that will send a real message is losing users. Blackouts are all well and good but it's when Reddit no longer has any claim of being "the front page of the Internet" that it's value tanks.
I'm a UKPol refugee and have also deleted my reddit account. I'm here to stay. Gotta say so far I'm impressed with Lemmy but the learning curve was a little higher than optimal.
I'm using Jerboa and it's fine but I'm missing a few features from Sync and frankly I don't like change 😂
I've had a great time playing the Stellaris base game but stopped playing after I felt like I was being locked out of a bunch of new content in DLC. I've been keeping an eye out for a complete pack of the DLC but even on sale I'd need to pay way more than I paid for the base game.
