It's pretty disappointing to constantly see on lemmy "50% of the country are Nazis!!!!" It's a naive, cynical, and unrealistic viewpoint. You can believe that a majority of GOP politicians are evil without believing that half the country is evil. The world isn't that black and white.

Unreasonable conservatives would paint you in a similar light. You have to leave room for differences in opinion and thought. Do you believe that your opinion is the only just and right way of thinking? If anything, that's a quick route to a dictator.
