Back in my day, universities used to pay me a grant to attend.

How the times have changed.

It's what,at least £9k per year plus an expectation that if your parents are "richer" than the norm, they contribute to maintenance costs to keep you going.

It's a sad state of affairs. Education is the crux of society and them paywalling it by making it prohibitively expensive has been shocking.

Turning education into a business is a mistake.

Indeed. I read somewhere that men are no longer wanting to go to university because of the prohibitive cost.

It's not the job tho, it's the competence and calibre of the individual.

I spend far too much time unpicking poor workmanship from outsourced colleagues.

You pay peanuts, you get what?

Yah, final nail in the coffin and that during a cost of living crisis.

We need a bot to steal their content until the community self thrives!

Your proxies are nothing compared to my wall of fire.

Quite a few years ago, I spoke with a coworker over the phone and she casually dropped in that she had five guys last night.

Cue long pause from me. At this point, I'd never even heard of this place. So I went, oh nice and changed the topic.

Yah, my ears are still bleeding lol

Heh, the 2 days will become 3 and then 4.

These idiots are totally destroying work life balance but honestly, they do not care about our welfare or mental health. We are just human machines that they think they own.

What is completely laughable is how they have become advocates of the environment and reducing carbon. Yah, my unnecessary shitty commute is really not contributing! They turn a blind eye to that yo.

Its the same ethos of those CEOs that are demanding everyone must return to the office. No ifs, or buts.

They damage moral which takes years to build up, they further announce layoffs which destroys whatever moral was left.

These idiots never seem to be held accountable.

Honestly, these management types need to be case studied.
