I'm not a runner, but I've seen good advice on Smartwatches from this YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/@TheQuantifiedScientist. He goes extremely in depth. Not sure if he covers GPS specifically though!

See if you can get a used Quadro P4000 from someone local to you (eBay in the US, for example). I got mine for about $80. It's basically just a GPU for video encoding, but it's done a fantastic job handling everything I've thrown at it, and it's a huge upgrade over a CPU.

I really think the "porn" name should be changed. I never feel comfortable recommending communities that have "porn" in the name - it's pretty embarrassing. Maybe something like "spacepics" could work?
