The LNP are seen as the boomer party and it's going to be difficult for them to shake that. Plus making houses more affordable and helping those who are struggling under capitalism doesn't really mesh with their whole vibe. Conserving capital and distributing capital more equally are somewhat mutually exclusive.

I'm having a similar experience in realising how much toxicity I've normalised on reddit. Going back on there now feels so absurd.
They'll be the first to complain when the quality of their reddit experience starts to noticeably decline. I don't know how many people here have used the reddit app, but it's pretty shit. Especially after the recent changes. And personally I don't really want to use an app that limits moderation and has excessive advertising.
They went pretty hard for the reddit protest I think. Looks like a lot of people jumped over and stayed.
