I like that question too. It's originally from a stand up comedian named Gallagher.
And how come we need to sleep?
And eat food?
And why not have wheels for feet?
And what would a chair look like if our knees bent the other way?
Singing, your throat becomes the instrument
Oh? I can confirm it's true for North America and China, at least.
Is it the middle one that gets debunked?
The fact that diamonds are on this list shows the insane power of relentless marketing combined with a monopoly to artificially jack up the price of something that would be almost worthless otherwise.
Start your own business, based on what you like to do AND on what some people around you need.
Become really good at it, and you will find people who will pay you to do it for them.
Do the best you can, and enjoy doing it, even if you don't get so much money at first.
Eventually, as your reputation grows, so will your income, but it doesn't really matter how long it takes because you are enjoying yourself already.
As we die, the question isn't "how much money I had?", but instead "how many of those days were worth living?"
I work on an irregular schedule, so I want to keep track to make sure I get enough sleep. It doesn't have to be super accurate, just a number of hours elapsed, to decide if I go back to sleep.
Satirical, but it's actually my plan b, until something automatically does it. So upvoted lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The Last Battle (1983)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_Dernier_Combat
"A scraggly, anonymous man (Pierre Jolivet) looks for love among a desolate, post-apocalyptic wasteland where almost no one speaks and roaming bands of marauders prey on the weak and unprotected. Assisted by a mad scientist (Jean Bouise), the man attempts to rebuild a broken-down airplane to expand his lonely, seemingly pointless search. At every turn the man is thwarted by well-armed, merciless thugs; however, hope rears its head he discovers one last surviving woman imprisoned by the toughs."
