Holy shit. Kamala is killing it. She’s inspiring at this point.

She hit him on the killing the immigration bill and brought up crowd sizes. Trump’s brain can’t handle it.

Get him, Kamala!

“I’ll get it all done if you show up and vote.”

Sounding awfully weird right now, Donald.

He fell for the Wharton reference. She’s doing fantastic so far.

Harris needs to stage whisper “small hands, tiny baby hands” while her mic is muted.

Harris really, really needs to nail Trump on blocking the bipartisan immigration bill. Speaker Johnson was on board until Trump intervened for the sole purpose of running on the issue.

This is the time that people who don’t follow politics and don’t know that are paying attention.

[Tim] Pool said on his podcast that he’s been contacted by federal authorities and plans to provide a voluntary interview.

Of course, the first rat to jump off the ship and into the federal lifeboat is Tim Pool. Not even slightly surprised.

From here, it'll be a race to give statements and turn on each other as all the best deals get made to the earliest and most thorough cooperators.

”Reports now show that people have had their pets abducted and eaten by people who shouldn't be in this country," he added. "Where is our border czar?"

They could have had Nikki Haley. Hell, they could have had Sarah Palin again. They could have chosen Peter “The Vampire” Thiel directly. They chose Vance instead.

There were numerous sources reporting inanimate objects in the room during the VP pick that would have been a better choice for VP. One couch in particular had a brave story to tell.

Harris should push a committal answer on Trump on a government shutdown. Will he support a compromise bill from the Speaker to avoid a shutdown? Point out how he killed the bipartisan immigration bill and ask if he’s going to do it again.

I think Trump is going to snort enough of whatever he snorts that he shows up energized. What he says will be rambling nonsense, as it always is, but he'll say it confidently. The story on the Trump side will be that he exceeded expectations, and that he's going to gain momentum again.

Harris is more of an X factor, but the buildup to the debate (felon vs. prosecutor) means that she has to win decisively in the eyes of both the left and the middle just to meet expectations. I hope she somehow exceeds them or has a few moments that steal the show, but it's more likely that Trump being able to speak semi-coherently will be the top story regardless of anything Harris does.

I hope I'm wrong.
