Have you thought of trying UNRAID. It will introduce you to world of docker. Lots of videos out there to get you started.

Your hardware is fine for truenas.

Which is better OMV or TrueNAS or Nextcloud? in c/selfhosted

I have tried few of them but I highly recommend you to try UNRAID. It will introduce you to world of docker containers

OP, look into photosync in app store! I use this app to sync photos and videos from apple devices to samba. You can download photos as well.

I have not yet. I think its too early for me especially when there are limited information available. I hear Unraid team are planning for zfs on arrays on 6.13 which is still bit further away.

FYI Mover Tuning Plugin now supports per-share settings in c/[email protected]

It would be an immense help to small brainer like me if there’s a guide for it. I am still running 6.11.5 because I am scared to jump on 6.12 as there are not many guides available. Most of the guides from IBRACORP and SPACEINVADERONE are getting old.
