Tell me about it...until this place picks up, I may have to continue to use reddit for r/ukraine and r/worldnews. Sometimes things are just that important. I can't stay in the dark.
Well, I am kind of an idiot I suppose. When you search, you have to add the ! in front of the community. It worked now and I am subscribed. Still getting used to all this.

I noticed that too. I ended up just subscribing in the browser, so that I can access it via the app. However, I do like the app. It loads images in a way better format/UI than the browser does, IMO at least.
This is scary because every time Ukraine claims one of these things, it turns out to be true. I don't want this one to be true though.
Yeah, I figured that was how it was suppose to work. I think there may be some....communication issues between "worlds" at the moment.
I have no idea how to "subscribe" to those. I don't know if it is a performance thing or what but when I search "all" for those communities within lemmy.one, they don't show up. It only shows communities within lemmy.one. I think it is performance issues because the drop down where "all" currently is has individual uhh....fediverses listed.
r/ukraine I really hope to see something similar here soon.
As long as "negotiate" means a full withdrawal of forces, and reparations.
