Lemmy is cool and all but the amount of communist obsession here is a bit much.

I view this as a case of communism failing to protect its workers and capitalists squeezing the last dime towards corporate earnings. Apart from the shareholders it's a loss loss for everyone else.

I'd be careful with using these numbers as they are difficult to verify and often come from Hamas themselves. That is not to dismiss lives lost but raise awareness about committing to accurate information.

The image is implying communism. Did you mean socialism? They're not at all the same

I haven't noticed this myself. Did you look inside settings?

Thinking of self installing a 5kW solution onto a South facing garage. DIY solution appears to be 60% cheaper than hiring a local installer (Ohio)

This is naive. Having grown up in a post communist country I know better than to fall for empty propaganda. You don't know what you're asking for calling out on communism as your saving grace. Communism didn't allow for any valie creation and the system was too rigid to respond to people's needs as economy was preplanned in 5 year intervals. Chronic shortages. Full employment was required by law but quality of life remained stagnant. Capitalism has its pitfalls too. The best outcome lays somewhere in the middle of the two

I've gone from PC to Xbox 360 to Nintendo Switch and very excited about the recent addition of a Steam Deck. Curious what y'all gaming on?

Is this a legitimate source of news?

Let's say Lemmy acquires the critical mass of users, continues to gain in popularity. Eventually someone will offer a large sum of money, the platform grows, new owners look towards an IPO, the goals shift, yadayada... How is different this time?

I emailed Reddit and got a response that they changed their support mechanism, now it can't be an email and must be a support form. Is this a recent change to deter people from complaining?

There's a painting by Dali that also looks like a portrait of Lincoln from a distance
