Germany has bad experience with total surveillance and state power that misuses this information. Once through the Nazi-Regime and then the GDR (Stasi). We know how dangerous surveillance is, what desires it arouses and how easy it is to abuse. We've been through all this shit several times. Not going to happen again.

Germans are generally very concerned about their privacy and prefer that the state (or anyone) has little information about them. Hence, for example, the continued wide spread use of cash instead of cards. And the data protection laws, which are very strict by international standards.

You can have a own EFI partition per Drive (and on it whatever bootloader you want). You then need to use the UEFI boot menu if you want e.g. boot the Windows one. If you have 2 different OS on different drives they should never interfere with each other.

Well, i mean you could of course use the Linux Bootmanager to then forward to the Windows boot manager on the other disk. but i never experimented with that.

Just sitting and thinking can be a very fulfilling experience. People do that far too little these days. Doing nothing regularily and let your mind wander is important for your mental health.

I haven't seen it yet either. Just like the thousand other things still on my list.

And I have this habit of starting a series and then not watching the last season. Probably to avoid the crushing certainty that it's over. So I'll have one more season to watch forever.

I've always found it extremely strange when people dress their animals. And i believe it must be uncomfortable for the animal. Imagine being forced to put something on and not being able to take it off.
