Mouse + Keyboard here. Couldn’t imagine trying to play as Ganyu, Nahida, or Tighnari without M+KB.

When I first started, I figured that getting better armor and beating dungeons would get me heart containers so I opted for getting a full second stamina wheel first. After I did that, I picked up heart containers until I was at 12 hearts (two dungeon ones and the rest from shrines) before I went for the third stamina wheel. I think it worked out pretty well.

On her debut day, I summoned and lost the 50/50 to Yanqing before having to go to pity for her. I was barely able to afford getting her with what I had.

Today I was looking and realized that I don’t really plan to summon again at least until 1.4, so I decided to try to throw a few 10-summons to try to pick up Asta copies. Got E1 Silver Wolf on the first summon of the first 10-summon of today.

Probably gonna keep going for as long as SW is here, since I’m at E3 Asta and E2 Dan Heng currently. Either I have a good amount of pity built up for Topaz, I lose the 50/50 and have a guarantee for Topaz, or I end up with E2 Silver Wolf and have enough time to save and get E0 at least for Topaz and Huohuo whenever they hit.

Lottery, easy. I don’t want to have to watch everyone I love die while also trodding through the later years with deteriorating health at half-speed (kinda like the reasons why I wouldn’t want to be invincible, but like… you don’t have enough time to go emotionally numb from it like you would from being immortal). I’d rather take the money and live the normal amount of time in better quality.

Exactly my concern. This is just going to encourage every instance to make its own community for everything, largely just turning everything into their own closed system to avoid getting arbitrarily cut off by admins from other instances for no reason.

The only real workaround for the user is going to be making new accounts for every instance. Which is… very much not ideal.

Yea. I feel like Beehaw cutting a lot of the larger general communities out from two of the biggest instances is highlighting early a major hurdle that’s gonna make the whole fediverse thing difficult to get a lot of people on board with. I don’t want to have to keep making new accounts to access stuff, but like… half of the communities I had subscribed to are just gone now because the admins over there decided they don’t want to play with anyone else, I guess.

Yup. News, Politics, Gaming, Technology are just a few I had joined. This feels like a major blow to this whole Fediverse thing if it’s trying to retain momentum from what Reddit is doing, since a lot of the more populous instances just got cut off on the larger instances.

I get where they’re coming from, but like… way to try to sabotage the entire system, I guess.

Oof. I had added a couple of the communities from there on my feed here, since they had the largest gaming community for instance. I don’t want to have to make a different account for every major server, but the fact that one group can just decide to cut everyone else out like that makes it seem like that might be necessary. X.x

Regardless, I feel like isolating like this is just gonna make this whole Fediverse thing feel even more user-unfriendly for people who are on the fence about sticking around.

I see left/right swipe functions on the comments and I’m already being won over. Looking forward to see how this progresses going forward!

I like Barbara’s voice. I know that she apparently had a different voice when the game first released and everyone says it’s a massive downgrade now, but I listened to clips and honestly kinda prefer her current one.

Also, I really like bow charge shot gameplay. Ganyu and Tighnari are some of the more fun characters to me. Well… while playing with M+KB at least. If playing mobile, I can 100% understand why you wouldn’t want to play them.

I deleted the Reddit app (only kept it because I was logged in to a throwaway account that I didn’t want to lose the saved posts on, but I was able to remember the password so away the app went), moved Apollo into my little app graveyard folder, and put a shortcut in Apollo’s place that just opened a new tab to kbin or lemmy in my browser. And boy am I glad I did because muscle memory would have had me going to Reddit at least a dozen times in the last couple of days otherwise.

I almost made a Beehaw account since I saw a bunch of the communities I wanted to join were on there and it kept logging me out when I went to them.

I managed to figure it out after seeing that making an account there needs an essay. So I guess I’m just gonna stay based here, waiting to see if and when kbin opens itself up to the rest of the fediverse (since I joined there first but came here when I saw that kbin is currently blocking itself off from everyone else, which is exactly what I didn’t want when making the jump from Reddit to the fediverse).
