I stuck this thing in succulent dirt, in that pot, from a right off the top of a grocery store pineapple 5 years ago and figured that it would never have a shot to flower because it’s in a north east facing window, but I always thought it was a cool thing to look at that I kept alive. I’m shocked that it’s actually flowering. I had to share.

One other tidbit that I remember is that this bud was technically considered mid grade because it was outdoor grown and a bit leggy but when you ground it up and had it in a pile, the shit would cascade down like a slow moving pile of sand because of how sappy it was if that makes any sense. It was sticky but dry and moved like that kids toy they make thats basically thick sand.

Edit: The description from this write up sounds spot on. The shit was ugly but dank af mids.

This isn’t an all time favorite strain for me but I’ll never forget, in the late 90’s or maybe early 2000’s when it was just dirt weed, mids (outdoor brick weed), beasters (Canadian orange hair seedless) and headies (indoor/hydro etc) there was this fall time harvest weed that reeked like Christmas trees. Definitely outdoor but seedless and very potent pine smell and flavor. Gave you a completely different and unique high that I haven’t been able to find since. Shit was cheap, unique and only came around during the fall harvest but since bud has become more mainstream and more grey market that strain seems to have become extinct. I miss it dearly. For context I’m talking about north eastern USA and always hypothesized it was grown in the pine barrens of central New Jersey

I like that system actually. Sometimes an unpopular opinion on Reddit would get downvoted and buried but it sparked an interesting discussion where the rest of the thread would be quality content. I like seeing some heavily downvoted comments sometimes and hiding that isn’t necessary. I feel like the user should have control over what way they get their feed and how upvotes and downvotes effect that.

Doesn’t matter much to me as far as high score type fulfillment fluff but as someone who likes stats and something to reference information about where I’m at is interesting at least and appreciated for the sake of being knowing. I always love video games that had a full stat page on the options like gta

I agree with the dislike button thing. I’m using wefwef so it’s basically an Apollo clone so I can see my cumulative stats so I guess to me they mean something. I guess everywhere has its own system so it’s a side effect of decentralized community.

This is one thing I’ve been trying to figure out, I keep hearing this a lot. What exactly is different with the upvotes and downvotes? Do they not bury comments and posts or something? Serious question just trying to be informed

Just a standard issue cat. Joking aside, according to her paperwork she is a tiger striped domestic medium haired mix. Basically nothing specific I guess? She has the softest fur of any cat I ever met. She likes to lay right on your chest by your face and the only reason I have her is because she almost killed my mother with her super fine hair and my mom had to get rid of her.

Also hitting the post button returns to top then the second tap goes back to the menu before it where you choose the feed or whatever and imho that should stay that way. I feel like if you made that gesture the way to snap back and forth from your position in your feed there would be no way to return to the post menu. Fuck Apollo spoiled me…

How far away are we from an actual wefwef app where that could be possible? Because I would definitely pay for it like Apollo for features like that as simple as that seems. It’s the small things. Bottom line I’m liking the things I’m seeing with this migration so far so as long as we’re having these conversations to make things better I’m content but if there is a place I can contribute to a legit effort to streamline the experience via iOS based Apollo grade app UI I need to know. I’m new to this concept of instance environment and very intrigued but not tech savvy enough to dive in fully because lazy. Give me Christian grade tools that Apollo brought to Reddit please and I would be so happy. Formatting tools at very least. Is it the same as Reddit where I can insert a link? Help!! Sorry end rant I’m drunk but tickled by good forum vibes

Edit: a letter

Need the top bar tap though so it can be like Apollo and snap back down to where you were with the second tap.
