I do think that instance is specifically a safe space for communists like lemmygrad. So far I haven't been banned anywhere but I don't engage in politics in places where I'm just being held to some litmus test of conviction.

One of the things that makes Lemmy unique is the underlying decentralized infrastructure. I think it's just a request to keep that mantra.

Cellular phone makes perfect sense though. It's a nod to the technology that makes their existence possible. My old 2.4GHz cordless house phone was technically "mobile"; it just couldn't go too far.
Very well said. There have always been problems, not all of them are solvable and it's ok to zone most of it out. Think globally, act locally.
