It's a bit funny to be like "federation is what will make this great" and then "federation blows us up, so we're turning it off".

I've been watching a couple of YouTube videos doing component-level repair. I've noticed some of them have super fine multimeter probes, often with insulation covering most of the length of the probe. I haven't found ones like this on my usual sites, but I'm not sure if I'm just missing something. Can anyone suggest some meter probes like this?

I've tried a few times to search for [[email protected]](/c/[email protected]), which seems to be the right way to find remote communities and the two servers should be federated with each other. I'm getting no results. Am I doing something wrong?

It's still pretty bad, but not as bad as it was even a couple of months ago. I suggest using https://rpilocator.com/ to try to find a pi of your choosing in your region. Looks like US stock is still quite limited.

To be fair, I don't trust infosec.pub, reddit.com, or any of those servers. I just choose what I'm going to publish using them with that model in mind.

I think the whole "ActivityPub makes it impossible to really delete things" is a whole nothingburger anyway. If you post something to a public website, like it or not, there's no way to delete it with certainty. The internet never forgets.
