What would Russia do about it? They can't even help Armenia or Syria.
What would Latin America do about it? Venezuela's neighbors moved to defend their borders after the Guyana invasion threats and they're getting sick of their shit in general.
Russia and Iran are the only reasons Assad remained in power, where he gassed his own citizens with chemical weapons and tortured, murdered, and jailed political opponents or anyone suspected being as much.
