That Honda second from front—I think I can make out “Hornet” on it, but not sure. Is that the case and which model is it? The color-matched forks are sick, too.

Same here. There are some great deals out there on leftovers, but I still can’t justify spending more on a bike than I did on my car.

It would be better if the mods stopped moderating, without removing themselves. Just let the communities become overwhelming cesspits, making it that much more difficult for the admins to scrub. That is the nuclear option, though, and it seems that the mods actually have hope for Reddit to compromise.

E: Seems like this has already been done, and Admins have retaliated for doing so

That’s sort of what I meant. The worst that’s going to happen is during the next traffic stop, the cop will say “we have a report of you doing ______” and may be less lenient. DMV isn’t handing out information to folks that aren’t agents of the state.

I think the concern is more that a troll will create a fake police report, although the police aren’t likely to do anything and you’d really have to chap someone’s ass for them to go out of their way to do that.

Otherwise, they can just find some basic registration information through your state’s DMV, but they need to have a legitimate reason to have the information released to them.

It’s just a matter of migrating them to a new platform. Lemmy has a small learning curve, but unfortunately it’s enough to turn off a lot of users. Hopefully with the influx of users, someone smarter than me can figure out how to streamline the user experience here.

While I didn't have much of a dog in the fight, Huffman's response has completely turned me off of Reddit. He has asserted in his interviews that the platform is entitled to the free content and moderation, while accusing third party app developers of being leeches. He's just another techbro douchebag and hopefully his greed bites him in the ass.

Not that I've found, there's a Beta on testflight but we missed the boat (I think). Lemmy seems to work pretty well on safari, surprisingly.
