Hey there ! Just wanted to share my experience with that game and how it reinvigorated my love for the game.

So quickly, I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh as a kid then left, then came back to it (exclusively online) in 2019 and enjoyed master duel for a time. I kept playing, but I felt that my love for the game was waning, and I really wanted to get back to some alternate format. First, I got into Edison. I loved it, but I played with a couple of morons that kept being very insulting and annoying. Then BOOM ! DDM came out, and I had so much fun with it ! It's a draft format with a lot of different options and campaigns, with a community that has been nothing but nice sine I've been there. In general, I just realized how much I love draft and limited format. I think I might focus more on those going forward.

Supra late answer but yeah I can imagine banishing 3 sometimes. I'm still firmly in the banishing 6 camp in 99% of the case but when you are in a match-up where you really need certain option in the ED you have to banish 3. I play Generaider in MD semi regularly and it happens more often than I had imagine to be fair.

Hey everyone !

For context, I am a somewhat casual Yu-Gi-Oh player who plays exclusively online (because the money isn't there to invest in paper and I still manage to have fun this way). I have really loved the invention of alternative format and ways to play those last few years. So this is why I'm asking the question: Have you tried any alternative format recently? Or challenges like progression series or MasterDuel Masochist Run?

I haven't personally, but I would really love to try some limited/draft format (like a progression run or a wave-format but I don't really have people who play around me to do it.
