Idk I think because of how much force needs to be contained by the restraint it is rigid for a reason. My guess is there is an engineering reason based on physics.

Also you don't want people to be falling asleep while driving (anymore than already happens) so maybe that's a factor too? Like it's not meant to be a pillow lol

True some can't adjust the angle, but obviously none of them protrude the ridiculous amount shown in the post.

I'm not sure how this isn't a joke, clearly it's a riff on how headrests can be weirdly uncomfortable at times. Anyways, if you're chilling with your head against that the whole time you're driving you're not doing it right.

OP is making a joke, I'm sure they're aware headrests move and none actually look like the post lol.

Agree.

Also people seem to think the head rests are there for you to constantly be resting your head on but they are head restraints.. They're there so you don't break your neck if you get in an accident - not to be comfy on a long drive.

If you're cool with McDonald's knowing your location (or at least an approximation of it, not sure how much data gets passed through) keep it turned on.

The app has geofencing tech so when you get close enough to the restaurant they'll start making it. I've had mine ready when I get there most of the time. Of course that depends on how busy they are but just fyi

Isn't that literally everyone who owns digital games? All your shit on Steam is a license to use the software, you don't actually own any of those games.

I mean, I get the point, cosmetics and such and anything virtual is not tangible in the real world but let's not pretend we aren't all doing that with every game we spend money on.

Having said that, the amount of money companies charge for some of this stuff is outrageous. Luckily, nobody is pointing a gun to your head forcing you to buy it!

I think the problem most people have is that they expect things to happen instantaneously

In my experience it's oftentimes men that are looking to date women way more attractive than them. Like some fat slob incel that refuses to date or bang a chubby chick and then gets mad they're not picking up women that are hot AF and upset "nobody will date [them]."

It's stupid, I know a guy on discord just like that. Unattractive fat guy and when I mentioned I think the biggest thing to coupling is being realistic and dating people about the same attractive level ... Dude balked at that. Was like "what about a guy that has a great personality," the man is delusional. No job, on food stamps and just getting by, living in a one bedroom (maybe studio?) apt, slobby and fat then hits the surprise Pikachu face that women don't want to date him. Not to mention his social skills. Talk about a total lack of self awareness.

Sure maybe if you were extremely rich a woman might overlook your physical appearance but let's be realistic here.

That to me is the problem most people have but I agree with the instantaneous thing too - it takes time to get in the groove so to speak. I've seen it go both ways gender wise just picking on my fellow dudes here.

Cool so I assume you're voting for Harris then? She obviously is the candidate who would cause less harm to the people of Gaza and Palestinians in general.

So it'd be pretty dumb to say something like that and then not try to do what you can as an individual to help (by voting for Harris).

I think it's more along the lines of you're being disingenuous with the lens you're applying. Sure, the current admin, and future Harris if elected, can certainly be criticized on foreign policy around Israel and Gaza. The flip side is the context that Trump would be so much worse and doing the same shit except even worse. Harris openly discusses a two state solution.

The point is, the two presidential candidates do differ and you're implying they don't. Regardless of your political bent, I'm pretty far on the left side, you have to admit in reality we have a two party system and one is better for the future of the people of Gaza.

Hence, we should all vote accordingly. I think mostly it's that you're implying we shouldn't vote Harris when the alternative is worse.

I miss the old internet, I'm an elder millennial so I grew up with weird old internet stuff. Seeing all sorts of crazy shit too young but by God I loved it.

Ok your sample size of one person confused about the baseball schedule isn't exactly saying they have no idea what is going on. Nevermind how absurd it is to extrapolate that to 99% of homeless folks.

Also, yeah it sounds like you're exactly the person I think we should hand assistance to, have a free apartment for a year while you figure shit out. Or hell, forever, you'll just spend your extra money in the local economy anyways so it'll be good.

You want to get different place, need more money, I'm just saying that as a fact not like saying it's easy. It's damn hard out there.

It's crazy to me it takes you 3 hours to commute one way though and you do that daily. I mean, idk your situation but I feel like there must be something closer that pays the same or better. That's just an insane amount of time to spend just getting to work, you're saying you literally only spend about 10% more time working than you do travelling to the job.

Anyways, yeah you're just convincing me that our minimum wage should be increased. Also, if you're single and making $12 an hour in the USA - you're probably really close to or even at qualifying for food assistance. Don't be afraid to get help, you're worth it.

the majority of the homeless have mental health issues where they don't understand what's going on 99% of the time.

Just ... No. Obviously fake and pulled straight out your ass.

what's to stop me, someone who's living outside of my means but still not making much money at all from just quitting my job and having free rent and all day free rather than 99% of my day spoken for and still losing money?

Well, presumably, the fact that you'd like to have money to do other stuff? Or to have a nicer place to live? Maybe you want to drive a nice car? Honestly the lifestyle you can sustain on government assistance is not going to be fancy.
