There must be a Ghost or Powerwolf concert in town

I like the ambient sounds at the end, it gives you a moment to ponder the existential nature of the song.

And I really need to listen to more Dream Theater, I don't know them very well. Will check this one out. Thanks!

I definitely miss him, and its a travesty we'll likely never get to see Endlessness live. I will say, I have gotten a new appreciation for Troy's vocals, and they killed Planet Hell in the virtual show they did, so I'm sure it'll work out.

The conditioning is definitely there, and I would be lying if I said I never felt this. Self reflection is sort of my thing, though, prettty much to a fault. That combined with being lucky enough to have (recently) married a woman who sees me for much more than that goes a long way.

EDIT: Whoops, just saw this was an older post. Sorry! Was buzzed and doom scrolling through random subs

This happened to me, but in person the first time I saw Nightwish in concert. I love the band but I hadn't had a chance to catch up on their (at the time) latest album yet. I asked "wait, is this the same song?" several times.

Song is The Greatest Show On Earth, also around 24 minutes. Incredibly good

Holy shit, that's awesome. I always get annoyed when there's no top level and I have to make one manually. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah I had one of those moments when an update totally broke stuff. Like, couldn't boot at all. Had to boot into the USB and chroot to reinstall some drivers. Was a fun learning experience lol

Idk how popular it is, especially since it's Arch based, but went with EndeavorOS after not running Linux for a few years -- work machine mandated Windows and gaming compatibility was kinda sketch at the time. Heard Gaming compatibility had improved (it has) so wanted to try it out again.

Not afraid of troubleshooting issues I cause, and bleeding edge shenanigans, but a proper Arch install from scratch was still a bit daunting. So it seemed like a good middle ground, and access to the AUR sounded nice.

Been running it with KDE Plasma for a while, been going great! Some issues with Nvidia drivers here and there but hopefully going to upgrade and swap to AMD at some point.

My first car was a 98 civic, was my dads before it was mine. complete with roll down windows and everything. That car had like 200k miles on it before we got rid of it, and even then we sold it to our neighbor for their new-driver son to use. That was a damn good car

Born in 95, this has also been my experience. I'm just a bit too young to fully identity with everything the Millenials talk about, but feel closer to them then Gen Z. Talking to my much-younger-than-me brothers feels like I need a translator sometimes, and our interests and perception of the internet are decidedly different.

Went to the same high school, but didn't really know each other until end of senior year. I guess I dated a friend of hers briefly. Really met via both of us doing theatre that year, hung out after that and through summer. Bonded over our love of metal music and Doctor Who. Neither of us technically asked the other out, her friend assumed we were dating and was like "You guys haven't kissed yet?! OK, I'm gonna turn around around, and you're going to kiss right now!" We kinda just went with it and kissed.

End of summer happened, and the casual summer thing had turned into us being really into each other. Decided to keep dating, making separate colleges work best we could.

Ten years later, we are living together in our own house with our three dogs, and getting married next month!
