I didn't know this existed. Brought me down a rabbit hole of ways to play games for people with limited mobility. Will definitely remember this for her and spread the word

Thanks, that's a great game. I even got a copy for me as well lol I wish they would release it on ipad for my girlfriend, though. I think it would sell really well on mobile...
I think this is a very small price to pay in just a few inconveniences, as compared to having server owners be legally responsible for all the contents their users subscribe to. Or having people to have to see gore and porn before they blocked all communities which provide that type of media.
But the "show NSFW" option does only work when the other instance flags NSFW content correctly, right? A friend of mine is on an instance where the content definitely is not flagged. If I would subscribe to these communities with this account on vlemmy, wouldn't the content pass right through the "Don't show NSFW" option?
If I understand Lemmy correctly, the problem is that if a user subscribes to a community, it's contents will be copied onto your server (obviously, even when they are hidden from view in All).
There are countries where the server owner is responsible for all content on the server, regardless of who put it there.
The Ranch of Rivershine, which released this year. Yep, and I am not ashamed (maybe a bit). We always pre-play the games our daughter gets a bit and with this one I just couldn't stop. Not at all what I normally play. I hope they add more content soon.
I didn't even think of the Sims, that's a good suggestion. Thank you! The drama is okay, it's more like murder cases and stuff that she doesn't like.
Free games unfortunately all have item shops and those waiting times for crops to grow, she doesn't play on her mobile because she doesn't like these kind of features. Her gold standard in games is SimCity. If I had to guess than I'd say she played that one for 1000 hours.
Thanks, this was the best gift. "Just like Sim City but bigger and better" (-Mum)
