No, we shouldn't be anti-Twitter because we're anti-Musk (and this petition too).
I don't think these anti-Musk petitions are for avoiding Mastodon; it could be done along with using Mastodon.

Not yet. The company is still under Musk's control because he owns it, and he's also chairman. Also, the person who launched the petition may not be aware of this.
Twitter support is not working as it should after Elon Musk fired many Twitter employees as part of his purchase of the company. If you feel bad using Twitter after Elon's purchase because of a bunch of problems like you experienced, you should protest Musk in some way (and also move to other platforms similar to Twitter, like Mastodon, Bluesky, etc.).
And we have to stop him. We want to remove Elon from Twitter.
