I imagine it's much more difficult to be self sufficient as a young adult with the increased housing costs as well. When I was 18 I was renting a nice 3 bedroom house with a roommate paying $350 each.

I agree with you. There isn't anything overly sexual here that warrants it.
Was just trying to explain to the dude who commented on my reply how to "use his words" instead of his previous strategy of targeting an unrelated bystander reply.
