DayZ and Dwarf Fortress. The DF official soundtrack is so ooooo good
I kinda get it. People equip one and see that the moveset is just poke, poke, poke. But I love being able to glue myself to the monster attacking relentlessly when other classes have to back off. The early game is always a rush to get guard and guard up gear haha. And now we've got the counter game, power guard, and high mounting potential. So good.
A good friend had the OG for Ps2. He even had the online adapter so he was able to kill Fatalis and get the Dragon Armor. It was sick! He let me borrow it for a while. I remember struggling so hard with Kut Ku lol. I didn't get to play it much though.
Not too long from then, Freedom came out and we both got PSPs. We got another couple friends to join us and we played the SHIT out of those games with a full group. So many all nighters getting through the G rank quests. It was a blast. We've all stuck with our same weapons ever since (Lance for life)
People started going off to college during the 3DS days, but we picked up a few more friends and were still able to get a lot of parties together. Those were a lot of fun. I was particularly fond of Gen with the ridiculous aerial styles lol.
The more robust online of the newer titles helped us keep playing together when we have the time. But man, nothing can beat the old days. I have so many great memories of hunting with my buddies. Monster Hunter will always hold a special place in my heart.
Omg that long range hip check on Plesi was such a pain. And then he'd decide to hang out in the water for an hour while while you're waiting all anxious for that water jet sweep. Good times.

Woah, does the app pick out each bird from a single recording, or do you have to get it to focus on one?
I think it's pretty normal. It's probably similar to zoning out while driving and suddenly realizing you were on autopilot. We're able to do a lot of things without active focus.
I saw them live last year and they were so good! Definitely one if the best concerts I've been to. I thought it would be kind of chill but they went HARD. The light show and energy was fantastic. Will Toledo really knows how to put on a show. I was a little bummed he never took the gas mask off, but I can respect it, lol.
