I don't like tiktok either. The reason why I'm mad about this is that it could happen to any other service.
I have a 2011 MacBook Air and it isn't supported anymore but I've put Fedora Linux on it. It's snappy and the track pad is still fantastic.

Which one should be it? Ubuntu is the most well-known, Arch is the power user one. Pop! is very user friendly and easy to adapt to.
