Yeah this is definitely a weird area. I can only assume this is in a situation where the kid has confided in a counselor that they are trans.

Is the point that even with cross platform disabled people are using mouse and keyboard on console and gaining an unfair advantage? Disabling cross platform has nothing to do with the problem OP is talking about.
