Lemmy loves to trash talk America simply because it's America. Every online platform has always had a poor perception of America (reddit, Digg, SomethingAwful, 4chan, etc), but Lemmy takes the cake. If this guy was from a different country, there wouldn't be as much hatred in the comments for him. I'm just stating facts. Even if Harris got elected instead, it wouldn't change the anti-America perception on this platform and there would still be people raging against him.

Glad we both agree that Lemmy loves to shit on Americans. Your need to elaborate exemplifies this statement, cause you can't help but waste an opportunity to take the trash talk even further. I didn't trash talk, but stated an honest fact about the perception of Americans on Lemmy, and look at all the downvotes I'm getting. I didn't even defend it, just stating why Lemmy is so contradictory to the norm seen here while hating on the guy in the article. The sentiment here is either "hate America or gtfo".

Lemmy caring about a shrine/monument that was built to commemorate a nation's leader? What happened to all the anti-nationalism that's seen heavily everywhere else on this platform?

To extend an olive branch - The US does deserve a lot of hate after this last election. I'm still dumbfounded that Kamalamaha didn't win. We've been avoiding everything politics related lately because of how upset it's made us.

Yeah he would be, that's not the point of my comment nor the point of the comment I replied to. Would he get the same comments this thread is giving this guy? Nah. Lemmy loves to hate on Americans. If he was German or Swedish, the amount of vitriol would be very much lessened.

I am not an attorney, I am not your attorney, and I would strongly suggest that you consult with a competent criminal defense attorney before you take this course of action.

Spoken like a true attorney.

An original. Enjoy!

Hello all!

I feel that sports anime are a very intriguing category of anime. Some people like 'em, some don't. How do you feel about them? What's your favorite and/or least favorite? Any aspects/tropes of this category of anime that you like and find unique compared to other anime, or that you don't like? Any recommendations? Is there a hockey based one?

I watched a couple episodes of Blue Lock - my brother was on episode 16 so I started there. Not bad, seemed to be sort of accurate to the sport unlike Prince of Tennis which is bending time and space to play the sport. Still, I may enjoy Prince of Tennis more at this point.
