Necessity, multiple times. I had incredible luck out of college - and by that I mean that places I worked at kept closing or getting bought out by other companies and doing major layoffs. I kept going back to my fast food job I had in college because it was better than nothing. I went back 4 separate times before I found a job that didn't close within a year.

So it wasn't exactly by choice!

That does make sense. It is no less infuriating πŸ˜‚ but it makes sense.

I seriously do not understand how removing numbers was a good idea. That, more than anything, was when I practically stopped watching altogether.

I was never bothered by this and now I'm suddenly bothered by this. Thanks for pointing it out πŸ˜‚

Just an update. There was a large vote for Best Christmas Podcast

and the results are out, now!

Another personal favorite, from Gilmore Girls. This one is much less about a gag or joke, but just a short moment about being excited for snow.

I'm new to Distractible as of only a few weeks ago. I was working backwards until my brother said "no. Stop what you're doing and listen to 'Bob's Fridge'"

It was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Ah hello, Tim.

I'm amazed that my original PokΓ©mon Red lasted as long as it did - but the in game battery will eventually die. If you really want to save it I highly recommend using a cart dumper, something like the gbxcart, to save your file elsewhere.

I had lost my original Red had died but my first big team is saved onto PokΓ©mon Stadium which gives me a good chuckle anyone I put that in.

Well as the creator and currently only member of a christmas community in here, obviously I had wished one already existed. But I'll keep periodically talking to myself until others join or someone makes one that gets some traction πŸ˜‚

Otherwise, as others have said it's a matter of the more specific groups that I'm really missing. Sure there are a handful of guitar based groups, but there is no equivalent to Guitarlessons. Of course there's also groups dedicated to specific genres and artists, as opposed to vague "music" communities. I'm sure this will slowly change as lemmy grows and I've considered making a few more in the hopes it attracts some more people into more niche groups eventually.

That TV stand is a dream, great find!

I've been putting off getting the N64 everdrive because, admittedly, I'm not a big fan of the console and I own pretty much any game for it that I want. But the everdrives are just so convenient, I own them for a handful of consoles already and I can leave my physical collection alone for the most part.

Not having to reset the console just to save sounds like a big perk, to me. That's the kind of thing that typically gets me to buy the pricier everdrives! Maybe some day I'll get around to the N64 one (and maybe I'll actually play my N64 a bit more because of it....)

I remember these when they came out and were getting passed around on flash sites. It was maybe a couple years later that they remade the animation- my brother and a couple of our friends were so excited we all gathered around a computer to watch it together and we were all floored!

I think the one you linked is, by far, the more recognized one.
