That's the story now. Why would anyone go to war over politics and taxes?

As an American, we saw this coming. It's why we had that kerfuffle a while back.

Concentrated evil. There should be a lot of stuff. Some way to bridge now and then.

Uninstall Dell optimizer if installed. After, check in device manager if Dell vault is installed. Remove and uninstall driver if there. Windows will try and block it as there's compatibility issues with it. Uninstalling optimizer should get rid of it but not always.

Couple of things - back then, bios was slow to load. Add to that if they had a usb keyboard or mouse, the bios wouldn't detect it and make you go into bios (even though the keyboard and mouse it just didn't detect accepted the keypresses to go into bios). There was an option to set in most to skip keyboard and mouse errors. They probably didn't know how to set it.

Could be that the drive is failing. Or it may just need to be re-seated. Either way, take the failed missing one out and put it the other drive in and see if it's detected by bios. If it is, put the failing one in slot 2 and see if it's detected there. If the mobo doesn't detect the good one in slot 1, it may be a bios/mobo issue. If the failing one isn't detected but the known good you moved to slot one is, it's a bad part and under warranty, rma it for a replacement.
