Since the SEC regulates publicly traded companies this would apply to only those traded from US stock exchanges. Still, a step in the right direction.

I feel there should be a minimum level of investment, I think the bar should be higher than just being a part of the instance, but this is a good start.

I didn't see it in the article but I wonder if some of these aren't new purchases but fulfilling already placed orders?

/R/credibledefense I love the deep dives into defense procurement. Really hoping to find a community like that. I would make my own but I have no idea how to start and I don't have the background needed to be a good moderator (Or whatever the lemmy equivalent would be) in that kind of topic.

Absolutely, I actually downloaded a lemmy app then deleted it because I thought I had to create another account for each instance. So glad to see that I was wrong. Happy to be here as a reddit refugee!
